Blockchain Boot Camp

The Virginia Tech Blockchain Boot Camp took place on Saturday, Jan. 26, 2019, on the Virginia Tech campus. Over 250 students participated. The slides covered in the boot camp appear below for download. For those that missed the boot camp, video streams from the event will be available to Virginia Tech students soon. Even though this event has passed, registration is now open for the Virginia Tech Blockchain Challenge.  Registration will close at 11:59 PM on Feb. 25.

About the Event

The Virginia Tech Blockchain Bootcamp event introduced undergraduates and graduate students to blockchain and its place in the 21st century as a secure programming platform with myriad applications. The morning was  dedicated to the history and evolution of blockchain and the basics of the technology. In the afternoon, students got a hands-on experience using blockchain applications.
